Regional Sales Manager – Responsibilities

  • Territory & Opportunity Management
    :
    Identify and promote all business opportunities—including new trucks, short-term rentals, service and used equipment—within your assigned territory to drive market share and business development.
  • Strategic Relationship Building
    :
    Establish and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with both existing customers and new prospects, ensuring a deep understanding of their business segments and application needs.
  • Consultative Solution Selling
    :
    Assess specific customer requirements to propose appropriate products and services, utilising value-based selling techniques to create customised commercial offers.
  • Negotiation & Sales Execution
    :
    Lead customer negotiations on pricing and delivery within your authority levels, concluding sales orders to consistently meet or exceed revenue, margin, and budget targets.
  • Market Intelligence & CRM Integrity
    :
    Monitor market trends and competitor activity while ensuring all business activities, leads, and customer feedback are accurately recorded and managed within the CRM tool.
  • Forecasting & Performance Reporting
    :
    Develop short- and long-term demand forecasts and provide regular reports to the Head of Sales regarding outcomes, deviations, and potential growth plans.
Qualifications

    Ideally you’ll have a degree-level education, or equivalent experience and a proven record of success in sales.
