Hays are working in partnership with a growing business based in Shrewsbury to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Telesales Executive.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and supportive sales team, where you will play a key role in identifying new customers, generating sales opportunities and helping drive business growth. The role would suit an individual who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships and working towards targets within a fast-paced environment.

Your New Role As a Telesales Executive, you will:

Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce products and services.
Generate qualified leads and sales opportunities for the wider sales team.
Build rapport with key contacts and identify potential customer requirements.
Maintain regular contact with prospects to nurture relationships and identify future opportunities.
Follow up marketing campaigns and customer enquiries.
Update and maintain accurate customer records within the CRM system.
Record all customer interactions and sales activity.
Arrange appointments and meetings for the field-based sales team where appropriate.
Work towards individual and team targets for calls, appointments and opportunities generated.
Support sales and marketing activities to maximise business development opportunities.
Keep up to date with products, services and market activity.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times.

What You'll Need to Succeed Essential Experience

Previous experience in telesales, outbound sales, lead generation, customer service or a similar telephone-based role.
Confidence making outbound calls and engaging with prospective customers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport and develop relationships over the phone.
Good administrative and organisational skills.
Experience using CRM systems.
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated with a positive and resilient attitude.
Comfortable working to targets and KPIs.

Desirable Experience

Experience with in a B2B sales environment.
Previous appointment-setting experience.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
Knowledge of Linked In and online prospecting tools.
