Shropshire Council is looking to appoint a Housing Support Officer - Nights to join the team that provide accommodation and housing support to homeless applicants. You will provide housing support including completion of support plans, discussing barriers to finding permanent accommodation and signposting clients to support with mental health, substance misuse, employment support etc. The role also involves ensuring the tenancy rules are being complied with and engaging with the wider team and a number of agencies to ensure clients are able to successfully move on into more permanent accommodation.
