Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You will work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and guide them on their path to recovery.
You will be the first point of contact for the service, including taking referrals, conducting assessments, covering staff absence, and answering telephone queries. This frontline role involves caring for an active caseload, ensuring all clients are treated with respect and dignity, managing continuity of care through partnership working, care coordination, and intervention delivery. Some Saturday working may be required. The position is full-time, fixed‑term (37.5 hours a week), Monday–Friday until 31/03/2027.
Salary: £26,250 rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, up to £30,900 per year.
Qualifications and Experience- Compassionate, motivated, with exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Demonstrable experience working within health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, or a clear motivation for working in the drug and alcohol sector.
- Successful track record of providing efficient and reliable customer service.
- Highly organised, excellent communication skills, and able to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
- Positive and engaging approach to clients and key stakeholders.
- UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
