The primary focus of the post will be to work under the direction of the Inclusion & AP Task Force Lead as part of the professional team to support improved educational outcomes for our vulnerable learners.
Within an agreed system of supervision, the Inclusion Mentor will use their skills and knowledge to directly work with and support identified children and young people to successfully engage, be included in and sustain mainstream education. This includes attending meetings, providing advice and using solution-focused approaches with partners to overcome challenges and promote outcomes that positively impact on education, achievement and progress.
The post holder will be expected to contribute towards progressing outcomes, recording and reporting on development as agreed and in accordance with national and local strategies/plans.
Fixed Term Contract until 31/08/2027.
