If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre‑employment checks, including:

This role is based in either Telford or Hove, and you’ll typically be in the office up to 3 days a week, so you’ll need to be within commuting distance of your chosen location. Whatyou will bring
Data Engineer:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience working with SQL/No
SQL databases - Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Programming ability in Python, R, or Java
- Understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, or data pipelines (desirable)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing principles
- Academic, personal, or internship projects involving data analysis or insights
Software Engineer:
- Degree in Computer Science or related a STEM discipline
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C++, JavaScript)
- Understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Experience with modern frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Spring Boot, Django)
- Knowledge of full‑stack development concepts (e.g. MEAN/MERN)
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development
- Awareness of CI/CD tools (e.g. Docker, Jenkins) and Dev Ops practices
- Understanding of software testing, debugging, and SDLC
- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
- Projects or internships showcasing software development skills
