7.5 Tonne Driver (C1) – Multidrop Deliveries

Shropshire & Mid Wales | UK

We are recruiting a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne (C1) Driver to carry out multidrop deliveries across Shropshire and Mid Wales.

This role requires a strong ability to work independently while meeting delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle (C1) safely

* Adhere to Driver Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive

* Complete multidrop deliveries to commercial and residential premises

* Carry out vehicle checks in line with DVSA requirements and report defects

* Load and unload goods safely, following manual handling and health & safety regulations

* Ensure loads are secured correctly at all times

* Use tachograph equipment correctly and maintain accurate records

* Complete delivery paperwork and/or electronic Proof of Delivery (POD)

* Provide a professional, customer-focused service at each delivery point

* Communicate effectively with transport planners regarding delays or issues

Essential Requirements

* Valid Driver CPC

* Digital Tachograph Card

* Good knowledge of UK road networks (Shropshire & Mid Wales preferred)

* Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties

* Strong time management and communication skills

Desirable

* Previous multidrop delivery experience

* Familiarity with rural and narrow-road driving
