Location: Shrewsbury Delivery Office, SY1 1AA

Job type: Permanent contract (30 hours per week)

Hours: Monday to Saturday, 14:00‑20:00;
Sunday shifts 10:00‑18:00. Saturday and Sunday may be required per rota.

Responsibilities: Deliver parcels across the assigned area. Prep the van and workload for the day, use route‑planning technology to ensure each parcel is delivered to the right place at the right time. Interact with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.

• Upbeat, self‑motivated and able to work independently
• Organised, punctual with great initiative
• Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service
• Comfortable interacting with customers
• Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings
• Enjoy a multi‑drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area
• Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

• A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to working hours)
• Paid overtime at 1.25× for hours worked over 40 per week
• 22.5 days holiday, increasing with length of service (adjusted for part‑time)
