Driver​/Loader

Location: Shrewsbury, SY5 6HT

Hours: Guaranteed 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:45 am start. Finish times vary.

• Collect recycling, refuse and green waste from domestic properties in Shrewsbury and surrounding areas
• Drive and load duties
• Undertake vehicle defect checks
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation, including security and weight of loads
• Accurately record work completed using an onboard tablet device and report any collection issues that arise
• Ensure the carriageway is left in a clean condition and clean up any spillages before leaving the area
• Assist other collection crews

• Cat C (Class 2) Licence
• Driver CPC & Digi / Tachograph Card
• Willingness and capability to perform a mixed loading/driving role
