Were recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded Mid Tier accountancy practice in Sidcup thats continuing to grow and is looking to appoint an Accounts Manager to join its successful team.

Youll manage your own portfolio of owner managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients acting as their trusted adviser across accounts and tax matters while building long term client relationships.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
• Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
• Providing clients with proactive advice and support
• Managing workflow and reviewing the work of junior team members
• Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value
• Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience with strong practice experience)
• Recent experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• A proactive approach with the ambition to continue developing your career

• Salary of 55000 to 65000 depending on experience

Required Skills:

Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience. 5-10 years experience within an accountancy practice experience. Experience preparing accounts and tax returns. Experience of Quick Books Xero or Sage would be advantageous.
