Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a new opportunity within a reputable automotive dealership?

Our client, a well-established dealership in Sidcup, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This role offers excellent career development prospects and the chance to work with industry-leading vehicles using advanced diagnostic technology.

  • Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • OTE earnings of £60,000 or more annually
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates
  • Monday to Friday working hours, from 8am to 5pm
  • Saturday mornings on a rota, 1 in 4, from 8am to 12:30pm

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Conduct routine servicing and diagnose complex faults
  • Complete repairs, component replacements, and vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
  • Advise customers on additional repairs and maintenance needs
  • Utilise the latest diagnostic tools and maintain accurate workshop records as a Vehicle Technician
  • Perform vehicle road tests and health checks
  • Keep up-to-date with technical information and manufacturer updates through ongoing training
Requirements:
  • IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience working within a professional automotive service environment
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills, capable of handling complex work
  • Knowledge of working in a busy dealership environment is advantageous
  • Eligible to work in the UK with a clean driving licence and minimum 1 year’s driving experience
  • Passionate about delivering high standards of customer service and workshop quality
