Building Surveyor

A well-established consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor who is newly qualified (MRICS) or due to sit their APC. This position offers the chance to join an established, collaborative project team delivering a broad range of commercial and public-sector schemes. The successful candidate must have experience running projects independently and be confident producing technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a range of project-focused Building Surveying services across multiple property types.
Prepare high-quality technical specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
Manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring programme, cost and quality targets are met.
Undertake contract administration duties and coordinate professional teams.
Provide clear, professional advice to clients and stakeholders.
Support senior team members in developing long-term client relationships.

Required Experience & Skills

Newly qualified MRICS or currently undertaking the final stages of the APC.
Proven project running experience within a consultancy environment.
Strong technical ability, particularly in writing specifications.
Solid understanding of contract administration and building pathology.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage workload effectively and work confidently with clients.
