Not every achievement comes with applause.

Sometimes success looks like a young person walking into school after weeks of absence.

Sometimes it is a student raising their hand for the first time.

Sometimes it is simply knowing that because of your support, a child believes in themselves again.

We are looking for an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant who understands that education is about far more than academic progress. It is about helping young people overcome barriers, build confidence and discover what they are capable of achieving.

This is an opportunity to become a trusted adult, a positive role model and an advocate for young people who need someone in their corner.

The role
  • Support pupils with SEND, Autism, SEMH and additional learning needs
  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions tailored to individual learning plans
  • Adapt learning materials and activities to meet the needs of students
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication and social development

  • Promote independence and encourage students to achieve their personal goals
  • Support pupils during break times, educational visits and enrichment activities where required
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Support safeguarding and student wellbeing at all times
We're looking for someone who
  • Has experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
  • Understands the importance of patience, empathy and consistency
  • Can remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
  • Is passionate about helping young people reach their full potential
  • Has excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is happy to apply for a new DBS

  • ASAP start opportunities
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Supportive leadership and collaborative teams
  • Career progression opportunities
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference every single day
