What you become part of:

Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as the wide portfolio range of small cans. Across their 10 manufacturing lines the site can produce 480,000cansper hour, 96,000 PET bottles per hour and 48,000 Glass bottles alongside Pouch production for Capri Sun.

There are currently around 300 employees across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering, experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.

  • Lead & drive a culture of engagement towards Quality, Environment, Safety & Health
  • Play a leadership role within manufacturing, personally role-modelling behaviours and own performancerequiredto achieve the site’s objectives
  • Drive performance improvements across all areas of Manufacturing Operations to service the CCEP marketplace. Lead the execution of our asset careprogramme’sto ensure asset life-cycle management isdeliveredand the utilisation of these assets are available whenrequiredto service the market with peak demand.
  • Spearhead the Operational Excellence approach on site to bring best in class performance alongside sustainable business improvements.
  • Accountability for the effectiveness of an integrated management system (quality management systems/food safety management systems/OH&S Management systems and environment management systems).
  • Ensuring that the policy andobjectivesareestablishedfor the management systems and are comparable and appropriate withthe strategic direction of the organisation systems.
  • Responsible for managing adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Distribution Practices standards.
  • Lead incident management investigations to ensure there is no risk to products and people and incorporate learnings into future manufacturing practices
  • Ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment risk assessment processes are carried outin accordance with Management System standards to protect product and employees.
  • Partner with the negotiated group on site to continue to develop Sidcup as a Great Place to Work.
Skills & Essentials:
  • Significant operational management experience in an FMCG business
  • Delivering performance improvement through technology and people improvements
  • Knowledge of world class manufacturing methods and techniques
  • People leadership ofaoperational unit, at least 150+ people in a unionised environment
