Registered Nurse – The Sidcup Care Home
Location: 2-8 Hatherley Rd, Sidcup DA14 4BG
Salary: £19.90 – £22.50 per hour
Contract: Days & Nights Available
Paid breaks & Welcome Bonus: £1,000
Responsibilities- Taking responsibility for the well‑being of residents and ensuring physical, emotional and social needs are met
- Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals
- Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each resident
- Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation
Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin, responsible for managing the unit alongside clinical duties in the home (oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, providing clinical guidance)
- Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are upheld to a high clinical standard
- Experience providing clinical guidance for care teams and contributing to CQC tasks
- Strong communication and reporting skills for effective handover of clinical issues
- Ability to work independently during night shifts, demonstrating strong critical thinking, confidence, self‑reliance and calmness in emergencies
