Are you passionate about making a difference in a young person's life? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Outreach Tutor to support students who are currently unable to access mainstream education.

About the Role:

As a 1:1 Outreach Tutor, you will work with individual students in the Sidmouth area, delivering tailored educational support in a home or community setting.

Your role will be to re-engage learners, build confidence, and help them progress academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, personalised lessons in core subjects (English, Maths, Science, etc.)
Build positive, trusting relationships with students and their families
Monitor and report on student progress
Work collaboratively with schools, local authorities, and support services

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/mentoring experience
Experience working with children with SEND, SEMH, or those at risk of exclusion
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to teaching
