Tobacco Education Specialist - 20 hours/week
Come join our team! The Richland County Health Department is seeking a passionate and driven individual to be our Tobacco Education Specialist.
The Tobacco Education Specialist must have excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to create positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including youth, organization, and planning and time management skills. This individual must work relatively independently and be able to travel to outreach sites in Richland County. Must feel comfortable in teaching and training others.
The position is part-time, grant funded, 20 hours per week. A bachelor's degree is preferred in any related field: business, human services, psychology, or community health as examples. A combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered. Starting wage is dependent on experience, benefits include health insurance, vacation and sick time accrual.
