Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) role in a fast-paced Eastern Montana setting with day and night shifts available.
Responsibilities- Work in a Critical Access Hospital providing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns
- Responsibilities include triage, fetal monitoring (NSTs), and newborn care
- Unit supports labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum and nursery functions
- Shifts offered are 06:45–19:00 (day) and 18:45–07:00 (night)
- Collaborative, team-oriented unit with strong interdisciplinary support
- Care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns throughout their hospital stay
- Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs), serve as a second nurse at deliveries, and assist with overflow patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians, pediatricians, and care teams to manage patient care and support
- Must support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery
- Position available for both day and night shifts
- Active MT or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience required
- Certifications required: BLS/BCLS, NRP, and STABLE
- Intermediate or higher Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Must be labor-trained
