American Traveler is hiring an experienced LDRP RN for a night shift Labor & Delivery position at a Critical Access Hospital requiring labor training and fetal monitoring certification.
Details- Work in a busy obstetrics department including Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum, and Nursery care
- Critical Access Hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 18:45-07:00
- Care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
- Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs)
- Serve as second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients
- Occasional floating to Med/Surg, CCU, or ER required
- Uses EPIC EMR
- May be placed on-call by OB manager up to 3 times during the 13-week contract
- Active MT or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Must be labor-trained
- Current certifications required: NRP, STABLE, and Intermediate or above Fetal Monitoring
- BLS certification required
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care
- Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery
- Team-oriented, interdisciplinary work environment
- Fast-paced setting caring for women and newborns throughout the childbirth and postpartum journey
