We currently have an opportunity for a Consulting Strategist to join our Employee Benefits team.

Overall Purpose

The Consulting Strategist drives the execution of HUB’s multi-year Employee Benefits strategy by partnering with our Client Management teams and ensuring strategic, tactical, and operational excellence across client projects and vendor relationships. This Client Executive role translates strategic objectives into actionable plans, accountability for workflow efficiency and deliverables, and ensures that client and management commitments are met through disciplined project governance, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.

Acting as both a strategist and an execution leader, this position ensures that HUB’s Client Management Teams deliver consistent, high-quality client outcomes while optimizing internal processes and team performance.

Essential Functions
  • Lead and execute HUB’s Employee Benefits strategic initiatives to align with business objectives and client outcomes.
  • Oversee and guide Client Management teams in implementing multi-year benefits strategies to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
  • Ensure Consultants, Client Managers, and teams develop detailed project plans, timelines, and communication frameworks that guide clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Direct and monitor key project activities, identifying priorities, assigning ownership, and ensuring on-time completion of milestones.
  • Ensure client deliverables including employee communications, open enrollment materials, and benefit program documentation are executed and met.
  • Hold teams and partners accountable for meeting project scope, timelines, and deliverables as defined in statements of work.
  • Track and report project performance, risks, and outcomes to maintain transparency and ensure proactive issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align resources, manage dependencies, and achieve successful implementation.
  • Anticipate risks and opportunities by forecasting needs, adjusting project scope, and reallocating resources as required.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, vendors, and clients to maintain clarity, accountability, and momentum.
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendor partners to enhance service delivery and solution integration.
  • Identify, analyze, and recommend process improvements to address project challenges, mitigate risks, and strengthen delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure teams enter accurate client data in Benefit Point and confirm all client service needs are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Promote a culture of excellence by coaching Consultants and Client Managers on best practices, continuous improvement, and project discipline.
