THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR HEAVY-DUTY DIESEL MECHANIC

Your main focus is on repairing and reconditioning agricultural equipment, doing whatever it takes to get everything back in optimal condition. Using specialized tools and equipment, you complete quality repairs and maintenance services on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. As you work, you keep safety at the forefront. You also participate in our ongoing training programs to sharpen your skills and learn more about diesel engines and John Deere equipment.

Our Requirements

• 3+ years of professional hands-on diesel repair experience
• Ability to operate vehicles and use diagnostic equipment
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical activity in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
• Valid driver's license

While not required, our ideal candidate also meets at least one of these preferred qualifications:

• Formal John Deere training (JDU)
• 10+ years of experience in the agricultural industry
• Positive employment of reasonable tenure with another John Deere dealer
