Job Description
Ferguson Construction is an award-winning general contracting company specializing in manufacturing and industrial buildings, medical office buildings, healthcare facilities, retail, and commercial spaces. We have an excellent self-performing team that specializes in concrete, steel, siding, roofing, and carpentry.
The Commercial Construction Worker position is an entry-level role. Responsibilities include assisting in general site work activities such as digging, moving forms, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, jobsite cleanup, demolition, proper use of hand tools and equipment, and gaining knowledge in various trades.
The physical demands of this job include standing, using hands, reaching, climbing, balancing, talking, hearing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, tasting, and smelling. Employees must regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
This is a full-time, consistent position with weekly direct deposit. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and pass routine drug screening. Benefits include insurance, 401k, and opportunities for advancement.
