Ferguson Construction Company is seeking to add a Structural Engineer to its interdisciplinary team. Ferguson Construction is a premier Design-Build contractor with over 100 years of experience constructing commercial, industrial, educational, and healthcare projects across Ohio and Indiana.

This position reports to, and collaborates closely with, our Managing Architect and President, who is also a Professional Engineer. The role involves working within a small to medium design department, designing projects from preliminary sketches to construction documents.

• Design and analyze structural components for new buildings, additions, and renovations.
• Develop structural drawings and specifications for permit approval.
• Coordinate with architectural and civil teams, review and seal drawings, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Estimate materials, labor, and costs, and manage procurement of materials and components.
• Collaborate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to optimize design and costs.

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain within a year.
• At least 3 years of experience in concrete and steel engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD or Tekla;
  Revit experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
