** Sidney, OH
** location, you will work in conjunction with product engineers to design, develop, and qualify compressors for HVACR systems. To maintain our role as a global leader of compression solutions we continually seek talented and ambitious technicians to work in our engineering laboratories. We are seeking a 1st shift C02 laboratory technician to contribute to our growth and continued innovation.
** AS A MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:
*** Follow engineering laboratory instructions to assemble CO2 compressors for developmental testing.
* Use of hand tools, power tools, cutting, welding, and brazing equipment.
* Utilize hydraulic/electrical/mechanical schematics and exploded view blueprints.
* Fabricate supporting test fixtures and controls required for non-standard tests or builds.
* Review data for compliance with applicable build standards.
* Perform various tasks related to the upkeep of the lab.
* You will be responsible for completing required tests or builds and communicating results with engineers.
* You will provide input on optimizing work processes to improve the overall efficiency of the lab.
** REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, &

SKILLS:

*** High school diploma plus two to three (2-3) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Must have basic mechanical, electrical skills, and/or HVAC/R
* Must have troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Must have personal computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs
* Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

* SCHEDULE:

** This position is on 1st shift and would consist of five-eight-hour work days, and would be eligible for voluntary overtime.
