Director of Occupational Health, Urgent Care and Employer Direct Care

Wilson Health is seeking a passionate, goal-oriented leader to serve as its next Director of Occupational Health, Urgent Care, and Employer Direct Care Clinics.

Salary and Employment Details

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr.

Position reports to:
Vice‑President of Wilson Health Medical Group.

Employment type:

Full Time.

Location

Sidney, OH.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to ensure quality customer service and financial performance.
  • Develop and administer policies and procedures and appropriate standards of care to guide and support the provision of services.
  • Hire, orient, and provide in‑service training and continuing education to department personnel; conduct performance evaluations, counseling, and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, staff, patients, families, agencies, industrial clients, and the public.
  • Integrate the service into the organization’s primary function and coordinate inter‑departmental and intra‑departmental services.
  • Assess and evaluate overall services through a quality assurance program to improve performance.
  • Develop and administer budgets, financial management, and billing activities.
  • Schedule work assignments and recommend sufficient qualified personnel for a 7‑day operation.
  • Represent the department at internal and external meetings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required;
    Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Ability to travel to multiple markets as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills with corporate, group, division, and hospital stakeholders.
  • Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures.
  • Strong multitasking ability with minimal supervision.
  • Strategic planning, organization, and execution to meet set goals.
