We are seeking a passionate, goal-oriented healthcare leader to serve as Director of Occupational Health, Urgent Care, and Employer Direct Care Clinics
. This role provides strategic and operational oversight for a growing portfolio of employer-focused and community-based clinical services, with a strong emphasis on quality, access, financial performance, and program growth.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building programs, leading teams, and partnering with employers and community stakeholders.
Position SummaryThe Director is responsible for the overall operation, performance, and growth of Occupational Health, Employer Direct Care, and Urgent Care Clinics. This includes oversight of staffing, planning, budgeting, quality assurance, and customer experience, as well as the development and marketing of new and expanded services.
The role facilitates change management, fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration, and ensures services align with organizational strategy and regional employer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for Occupational Health, Employer Direct Care, and Urgent Care clinics.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and strong customer service performance.
- Lead the development of new programs and expansion of existing services, including oversight of sales and marketing for employer-based offerings.
- Identify opportunities for growth, employer partnerships, and new service lines.
- Develop and administer departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
- Integrate clinic services into the organization’s broader care delivery model and coordinate interdepartmental services.
- Hire, onboard, train, and develop department staff, including performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action as appropriate.
- Ensure appropriate staffing coverage to support a seven-day operation.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, financial performance, and billing activities.
- Represent the department at internal meetings and employer-facing or community engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree required. (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare environment, with leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in occupational health, urgent care, ambulatory services, or employer-based care is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strategic planning and execution capability.
- Process evaluation and continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to travel locally between clinic locations as needed.
