FSQ Technician - 2nd Shift

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour. Additional shift differential: $1.50 for 2:30 pm -- 4:00 am. Full‑time position within our manufacturing facility, 6:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. with opportunities for advancement.

- Read and interpret basic technical documents
- Knowledge of HACCP as it applies to plant operations (HACCP certification preferred)
- Current satisfactory job performance and safety record
- Work in a variety of temperatures
- Operate standard laboratory equipment and keep accurate documentation
- Communicate in English (verbal and written) to create and document reports
- Basic math skills and ability to read product specifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; intermediate proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Complete background check and drug screen
- Perform QA audits on incoming, in‑process, and finished products to ensure regulatory and company standards.
- Assist in planning and establishing additional FSQ activities and procedures.
- Monitor daily adherence to HACCP and GMPs; report issues to management.
- Generate reports such as specification notices and trend analysis using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel; process transactions in SAP to release product from QA hold.
- Verify regulatory formula and procedural compliance of manufacturing systems and take corrective action when necessary.
- Document review and verification to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Sensory, and Product Development to gather samples and testing information.
- Evaluate Certificate of Analysis data against specifications and take appropriate action.
- Work with production management to rework product for routine quality issues.
- Maintain reports of all testing performed and all quality and food safety issues.
- Conduct plant food safety/GMP orientation when necessary.
- Perform associated formulation audits and quality checks as required and per product specifications.
- Document incidents involving product/ingredient food safety issues.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
