The ideal candidate will supervise the activities in the respective manufacturing department to produce quality parts while maintaining production goals and providing a safe work environment.

• Assure the production of quality parts at competitive price by assigning trained employees to jobs while ensuring that all raw materials, changeovers, production schedules and work instructions are available and completed in a timely manner.
• Assure that employees are cross‑trained in all pay‑grade jobs in performance, quality checks, process checks, charting, safety and quantity checks to provide flexibility in job assignments.
• Assure the quality standards are maintained by continually monitoring the performance of employees and equipment during the operation of the shift.
• Help each employee to realize his/her full potential by mentoring with timely evaluations, rewards, discipline and counseling.
• Assure the employees a safe work environment by maintaining good housekeeping standards and providing them with the necessary safety equipment, and monitoring the use of the same.
• Assure employees fair and equitable treatment by following company policies and procedures to provide uniform application between multiple facilities.
• Assure continuity of production by providing and receiving status reports from the previous and following shifts on production, scrap and quality issues.
• Assist in conflict resolution by encouraging employees to utilize open‑door policy and guiding them through the process.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Directly supervise hourly employees in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work.
• Appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
