POSITION SUMMARY:
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other drinks while providing friendly and professional customer service. The Barista maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area and follows all food safety and sanitation standards. .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Prepare coffee, espresso, specialty beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment.
Provide courteous, efficient, and professional service to customers.
Take customer orders accurately and process payments when required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage station, counters, equipment, and surrounding areas.
Restock coffee, beverages, cups, lids, condiments, and other supplies as needed.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Monitor product quality and freshness and report shortages or equipment problems to the supervisor.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and preparing the work area.
Work cooperatively with kitchen, dining, and other food service staff.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards always.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Attends allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
Complies with all HACCP policies and procedures.
Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
