• Greet and assist customers promptly:
  Approach and acknowledge customers, provide assistance, and manage multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs:
  Share product knowledge, answer questions, direct customers to merchandise, offer recommendations, and engage in suggestive selling.
• Promote store events and promotions:
  Inform customers about current events and promotions to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns:
  Address issues, offer alternatives, and aim to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management:
  Inform management about restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals:
  Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives.

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld and mobile devices)
• Good communicator able to engage with customers
• Professional and courteous handling of customer interactions
• Basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training

• Operate cash register
• Move merchandise up to 25 lbs and handle stock up to 5-10 feet high
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise
• Move and position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock room and on sales floor
• Communicate with customers, management, and coworkers in person and by phone
• Work a flexible schedule including day, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts
• Identify and follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, schedules, and SOPs
• Remain stationary as required for portions of the shift
