Job description
We are seeking to add a Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer position is a professional, outside Industrial Sales role meeting face-to-face with existing and prospective customers. This position is responsible for the sale of metal fabrication and robotic welding equipment to OEMs and job shops.
Location:
Upstate NY - Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter w/ highly motivated work ethic
- Customer focus with the ability to communicate with people from all levels up to and including the CEO.
- Strong organizational skills and a high comfort level in computers, finance and business.
- 3-5 Years’ Experience in Sales or Manufacturing
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technical Field Preferred
- Mechanical aptitude is a significant plus.
- The CEO explained that during the interview process, he and his team want to see if candidates are fun to be around. He mentioned that several times.
- Someone who isn’t seasoned, but instead ready to be molded into a sales killer.
- Excited about making cold calls and traveling to customer sites
