Entry Level Adult Caregiver

We are seeking an Entry Level Adult Caregiver 3-10 PM in Sierra Madre, CA for a part-time Direct Service Professional internship opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who wants to begin a meaningful career in healthcare services, caregiving, human services, or support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As a DSP Intern, you will receive interactive training while learning how to provide person-centered support that helps individuals build independence, participate in their communities, maintain meaningful relationships, and feel empowered in daily life. This opportunity offers weekly pay, a consistent weekday evening schedule, supportive training, and the potential to grow into a long-term career path with increased pay.

• Provide entry-level support under the guidance of a qualified Direct Service Professional.
• Assist individuals with daily living skills, communication, community participation, and personal empowerment.
• Support health, wellness, safety, privacy, and emotional well-being through respectful, person-centered care.
• Help individuals build and maintain healthy friendships, family relationships, and community connections.
• Participate in training and ongoing learning to develop professional caregiving and direct support skills.
• Complete basic documentation and follow program expectations, policies, and ethical care practices.

• Pay: $16.90 per hour.
• Possible conversion up to $20 per hour.
• Weekly pay.
• Incentives offered.
• Employment retention payments at six and twelve months.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Part-time schedule, up to 30 hours per week.
• Internship may last up to three months.
• A variety of schedules may be available.
