The RN Charge Nurse supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, determines staffing levels and assignments based on availability, skill set, census, acuity, and patient flow. The Charge Nurse provides direct patient care as needed, floats between units to address staffing and problem‑solving needs, evaluates the effectiveness of patient care, and responds to complaints through established channels. Additional responsibilities include entering orders, performing admissions or discharges, coordinating transfers, ensuring staff have necessary equipment and supplies, integrating evidence‑based practices, and fostering an environment that encourages professional growth.

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred.
• Active Arizona or Compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac or critical care settings preferred.
• ACLS and CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
