Local Team Collaboration

Join Canyon Vista Medical Center's close-knit team of eight physicians and five advanced practice providers (APPs). Work alongside a diverse group of clinicians who bring a variety of geographic, educational, and training backgrounds to our team. Our physician assistants practice at the top of their scope, with support from attending physicians when needed. Teamwork is at the heart of our culture, with colleagues always ready to lend a hand during procedures or shift changes.

Many team members actively participate in hospital committees, such as the medical executive committee, and lead initiatives to improve patient care and update order sets. We are a family-oriented group committed to your wellness and combating burnout. We value work-life balance and provide regular opportunities for engagement and feedback through monthly remote and in‑person meetings. Accountable, on‑site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership‑development tools.

Stable, well‑staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient‑first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.
