Travel RN - Rehab - In Patient

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Rehab Unit position requiring prior rehab or med-surg/telemetry experience and AZ or compact RN licensure.

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) currently in hand
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of rehab or medical surgical/telemetry experience required
• 2+ years overall nursing experience preferred
• RN degree required
• Social security number and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a 10-bed Acute Rehab Unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Night shift from 7p-7a with every other weekend rotation
• No call requirements
• Float as needed to medical surgical or medical telemetry units
• Lift equipment located over every patient bed, with rehab gym and dining room on the unit
• Uses Cerner EHR
• Provide direct patient care within an acute rehabilitation setting
• Friendly, kind, and compassionate personality fit preferred
• No specific scrub color required, though artificial nails are not permitted
• Facility-branded t-shirts worn only on Fridays
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered
• Travelers cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
