- Perform inspection activities including but not limited to Receiving Inspection, Source Inspection, and Virtual/Desktop Inspection, using calibrated tooling, drawings, specifications and engineering data to determine acceptability of products to contract and Northrop Grumman requirements.
- Interacts with internal and external customers on issues requiring coordination between organizations in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills (oral and written) and good organizational skills. Works well in a team setting.
- Maintain strong attention to detail with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of additional education and related experience.
- Familiarity with inspection tooling such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges.
- Experience with ANSI Y14.5 drawing interpretation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have an active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Experience with ISO
9001, AS9100 audits and principles. - Experience using S4 ERP system.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience with the following airframes is desired:
Global Hawk or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. - Awareness of or trained to IPC 620 and/or J-STD-001.
Primary Level Salary Range: $43,100.00 - $71,900.00. The salary range is a general guideline and may be adjusted based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Eligible employees may receive overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Long Term Incentives may apply for VP/Director positions. Northrop Grumman offers health and life/disability insurance, a savings plan, company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
