Job DescriptionFederal employees are asking us for help with retirement. Your job is to call them back fast and get the right ones on our calendar.
The base is lower on purpose. If you're good at this, you'll make a lot more than a flat-rate call center job. Base is $16/hr, plus $50 for every qualified appointment that shows up, with no cap. Realistic year-one pay is $55,000–65,000, and top performers make $70,000+.
Haws Financial Planning is a fee-only financial planning firm here in Sierra Vista. We do one thing: retirement planning for federal employees. Our You Tube channel and weekly live trainings bring in hundreds of people a month who want help, and we can't call them back fast enough.
This isn't cold calling. Every person you call raised their hand. You'll call them within minutes, find out where they are in their retirement, and book the right ones with one of our advisors.
What you'll do
- Call new leads fast, and follow up by phone, text and email
- Ask a few simple questions: when they're retiring, roughly what they've saved, whether a spouse should join
- Book qualified people live on the phone into an advisor's calendar
- Kindly point people who aren't ready yet to our free trainings
- Confirm appointments and rebook no-shows
- Log every call in our CRM the same day
What you won't do: give financial advice, sell our services, or cold call.
Who you are
- You've had a job where you were on the phone most of the day
- You're warm, direct, and a "no" doesn't slow you down
- You're motivated by earning more when you perform
- You're organized: if it's not in the CRM, it didn't happen
- Veterans, military spouses and former federal employees: we'd especially love to hear from you
No license needed. We'll train you.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM, in our Sierra Vista office.
Pay and benefits
- $16/hr base
- $50 per qualified appointment that shows up, paid monthly, no cap
- Paid time off
