Service Technician

We are currently seeking detail‑oriented HVAC technicians to join our residential team at Berg’s Heating and Air Conditioning and our commercial team at Berg Enterprises, Inc. Our crews work locally in various locations or travel to project sites throughout Southern Arizona.

• Take charge of all assigned work and maintain a sense of ownership of all scope on‑site
• Walk the site in an observed manner, taking note of hazards and, when appropriate, correcting them accordingly
• Communicate with fellow crew members, public, customers, or adjacent trade crews when necessary
• Manage and update customer database with complete and accurate information
• Provide exceptional customer service, communicating clearly and efficiently

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairing, and new unit start‑up
• Universal EPA Certification, NATE certification (not required but a bonus)
• Knowledge of equipment including, but not limited to: package units, heat pumps, furnaces, condensers, evaporator coils, evaporative coolers
• Ability to work independently and as a team when needed
• Technicians are required to be on call after the probationary period and will need to work some holidays depending on the on‑call schedule
• As an ambassador of Berg Enterprises, you are expected to represent the company with professionalism, honesty, and integrity
