• Assist in the completion of make‑ready units to Chamberlin standards and maintain adequate supply of make‑ready units for the Community.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, plumbing problems, painting, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Address resident service and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, ensuring the pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.
• Re­key locks and cut keys.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and correct the hazard to inform the Manager of Facilities and Service of the hazard.
• Maintain the property’s appearance by ensuring it is free of weeds, rocks are raked, trash is removed, sidewalks are clear, and periodically power‑washed; keep amenities or community areas clean and in working order.
• Share on‑call duty with service team members and be readily available to go to the property if needed and in uniform.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of materials, parts and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, service request, expenditures, apartment make‑ready status, work in progress, etc.

• General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances, and OSHA‑related standards.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience as apartment turn technician, make‑ready technician, or work order technician is highly desirable.
• HVAC and CPO certification preferred.
• Bilingual or English speaking.

• 40 hours a week, Monday‑Friday during property business hours.
• Evenings and weekends may be required as circumstances warrant.

Pay is contingent upon the successful completion of a standard background check, which reviews records for the past seven (7) years, in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
