ScheduleFull-Time, Monday - Friday
Compensation$20.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities- Install, troubleshoot, and repair remediation systems.
- Perform remediation system operations and maintenance.
- Perform soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling.
- Perform site inspections and other data collection.
- Gather field operation and maintenance data in a neat and organized manner.
- Optimize remediation systems including soil vapor extraction systems, thermal oxidizers, catalytic oxidizers, groundwater extraction and product recovery systems.
- Install, operate, and maintain groundwater pumps.
- Travel to various local remediation system locations.
- Use environmental field instruments including water quality meters, pressure and vacuum meters/gauges, PID/FIDs, and other gas meters.
- Work closely with engineers and project managers to operate, maintain, and optimize the various remediation systems.
- Understand system permits‑to‑operate and conduct operation of the systems in accordance with the respective permits.
- Actively develop your own career growth.
- GED or high school diploma.
- 6 to 8 years of experience with remediation systems, maintenance, and data collection.
- OSHA 40‑Hour HAZWOPER certification.
- Ability to lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and work under inclement weather conditions.
- Stable employment history and favorable employment references.
- Track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Background and drug screening.
- Own reliable transportation.
- Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
