Farm Credit Southeast Missouri, Central Office in Sikeston, MO, is seeking a full-time Senior Credit Officer.

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Executive Vice President / Chief Credit Officer, the Senior Credit Officer will underwrite and approve/deny traditional, large, complex, agribusiness and commercial loans by providing comprehensive credit underwriting. This position analyzes loan participations and works with borrowers to restructure stressed loans.

Duties include:

• Analyzing large and complex loan application packages
• Working closely with loan officer and branch staff to assure proper credit administration
• Analysis of capital markets and participation loans

Knowledge and Skills:

• Expert knowledge in credit analysis and regulatory requirements
• Working knowledge of legal documents related to collateral, mortgages and foreclosures
• Working knowledge of finance and microeconomics
• General knowledge of agriculture best practices
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, agriculture, business or related field
• 5 years of related experience in credit analysis or underwriting or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
• Previous experience with large and complex credits including large participation and capital market loans required
