Pay Range: $26.87 per hour ($28.78 after 1 year) + $0.75 night shift differential

Paid Bi‑Weekly – Performance Bonus Eligible

Shift Flexibility:
This position requires a night shift schedule and the ability to work any day of the week.

Efficiently operate assigned equipment to produce products at prescribed standards, minimize waste, oversee line function, and ensure safe operation to deliver customer requirements through the production plan. Maintain quality standards, cost effectiveness, optimal running and equipment efficiency. Perform cleaning, inspection and record issues for resolution by the Technical Operator.

• Set up machine for production, including assembling freezers, ingredients, sanitizing lines, and adjusting the machine to formula specifications.
• Comply with all GMP/quality issues and charting procedures; monitor product specifications such as bar weight, product size, machine output, speed, wrap, code dates, and product quality; keep areas clean and dry.
• Monitor equipment for malfunctions, solve minor problems without assistance, eliminate potential threats; communicate with supervisors and maintenance personnel; participate in PMs; follow lubrication programs and maintain lube log.
• Oversee all operations at the workstation, including responsibilities of Wrapper Operators and Hand-packers; work effectively with them to ensure smooth operation of the line; assist with tubs from freezer; report any problems to supervisors.
• Be involved with TPM and take part in continuous improvement.
• Function in various capacities, such as moving supplies and discard, filling in for Wrapper Operators and Hand-packers as needed, and other duties as assigned.

• Ability to learn all functions of the job within a reasonable amount of time.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and keep accurate written records.
• Ability to work various hours and shifts (8‑, 10‑, or 12‑hour shifts) as needed; must work overtime when required.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Achieving a passing score on a proctored skills assessment conducted onsite is required before the final interview.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds several times per hour.

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through experience working on machinery and satisfactory completion of technical/shop courses.

Variable, consisting of the office environment, the mix room, and the manufacturing floor. Position may require standing, stooping, moving equipment, bending, reaching, or lifting for prolonged periods. PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection and sanitary footwear.

Exposure to allergens: dairy, eggs, tree nuts, coconut, peanuts, wheat (gluten), soybean and cinnamon. Exposure to chemicals and gases such as ammonia.
