Temporary Maintenance Associate

6-month Temporary Position that could lead to permanent position. Responsible for the general maintenance and repairs of all Agency facilities in the six county area served by DAEOC. This individual will do preventative maintenance, minor repairs and installation of equipment and other materials.

• Builds, repairs and installs counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, building framework, and trim.
• Installs glass in windows, doors and partitions.
• Replaces damaged ceiling tile, floor tile and wall coverings.
• Build cabinets and other wooden equipment as necessary.
• Installs items such as window shades, venetian blinds and curtain rods, wall fans and door locks.
• Installs, removes, and relocates playground equipment as needed.
• Completes repairs to offices/centers related to Fire and Safety Codes and Licensing in a timely manner.

Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of technical school or four years related experience and/or combination of educational training and experience.

Applicant must have a valid Missouri driver’s license, transportation and insurance. Dual language is a plus.
