Position: Assistant Varsity Track Coach
Location: High School
Type: Extra Duty, Seasonal )
Reports to: High School Activities Director
In accordance with district policies and procedures, the assistant athletic coach will support the district athletic program and adhere to MSHSAA guidelines.
Essential Functions- Implement the Student Activities Program Procedures Guide and district policies.
- Complete required MSHSAA rules meetings.
- Support the head coach in conducting athletic programs.
- Attend staff meetings as called.
- Assist with drills, equipment, eligibility, and other duties assigned by the head coach.
- In the absence of the head coach, assume all responsibilities designated to the head coach.
- Missouri Teacher Certification required.
- Prior coaching experience preferred.
- Must pass background check and drug test.
Requires prolonged sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and physical exertion. Must handle stressful environments, work irregular hours, and occasionally travel.
