Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located at our Siliguri campus. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves reconciling accounts, supporting audits, preparing balance sheets, and assisting management with financial analysis and forecasting.

Qualifications
Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
Proficiency with accounting software and financial tools
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and numerical accuracy
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional qualifications such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; candidates with a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification or similar will be preferred
Prior experience in educational institutions or the hospitality sector is an advantage
