SUMMARY
This position assists the Engineer, City in the design and construction phases of projects for water, sewer, street and drainage projects. Responsible for maintaining maps and graphics for streets, water lines, sewer lines and other City infrastructure.

Knowledge of:Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from a (4) year college or university with an accredited engineering curriculum.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or Board of Directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (if required)- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Engineer Intern License (EI) upon hire and required Professional Civil Engineer Registration and License (PE) in the State of Arkansas within 6-months of eligibility.
