What We're Looking For:

• Valid Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) License
• Current Texas Certification
• Experience working with school-age students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide orientation and mobility instruction to two students requiring minimal weekly services
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans targeting safe, effective travel skills
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student goals
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Offer guidance and resources regarding adaptive techniques and mobility tools
