Resident Services Coordinator

The Resident Services Coordinator oversees all aspects of resident relations, activities, communication, and community outreach. The Coordinator works closely with the Community Manager to develop and maintain a residential environment conducive to the overall success of the property and serves as a representative of the community office.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Resident Relations Management
  • Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
  • Develop and plan property‑related services/programs in collaboration with staff, residents, and other housing agencies
  • Coordinate monthly newsletters and implement an educational programming model for social events
  • Oversee new and existing resident community outreach and community development
  • Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction
  • Develop and implement resident retention programs (e.g., resident functions, special promotions, monthly newsletter, etc.)
  • Personnel Management
  • Assist Community Manager in screening, hiring, training, coaching, and developing on‑site staff
  • Assist the Community Manager in ensuring staff effectiveness through ongoing training, coaching, counseling, and guidance in compliance with Asset training benchmarks
  • Promote harmony and quality job performance of staff through support and effective leadership
  • Ensure staff compliance and consistency with company policies and procedures
Education / Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or two years of experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
Physical Requirements
  • Regular communication with others, repeat motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers; assess work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness; able to work overtime, weekends, and night hours (emergencies)
  • Frequently required to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, move to accomplish tasks, or move between work sites
  • Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools, and similar; move in tight and confined spaces; work in overhead positions and reach; adjust or move objects up to 25 lb.; lift and place objects up to 25 lb.; operate machinery or power tools; operate motor vehicles and/or golf carts; work in extreme temperatures, outdoors, in precipitation and wind, in small or enclosed spaces;

    traverse flat and non‑flat terrain; be exposed to hazardous chemicals

At Asset Living, compensation decisions consider skill set, background, training, certifications, etc. The offer will be based on relevant experience. The total rewards package includes medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance; 401(k) with employer matching; commission and performance bonuses, when applicable; paid sick days and company holidays. Salary range:  15 per hour to  16 per hour.
