Position Accountabilities
- Provide dental services and clinical leadership in dental clinic operation.
- Supervise and teach students in patient care and community health.
- Supervise and work with HMS Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, and other support staff.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement processes at HMS.
- Promote HMS services in the community.
- Graduation from a US accredited Dental School.
- Licensed to practice Dentistry in New Mexico.
- Current BLS or equivalent certification or must obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Evidence of continuing education necessary to maintain licensure.
- Experience serving underserved populations and rural areas.
- Experience in community health.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and oral preferred.
- Experience teaching health science students and residents.
