Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week in a multi-specialty ICU environment

• Maintain 1:3 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients across various ICU specialties including OB, CICU, SICU, MICU, and PICU

• 2 years of ICU experience required with charge experience preferred

• Must be ready to handle any ICU specialty and patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS preferred

• Current New Mexico or Multi-State nursing licensure required

• Experience with Meditech charting system preferred

• Block scheduling with weekend shifts as needed

• 18 hours of orientation provided

• Must arrive within 30 minutes if on-call

• Floating may be required in rotation with facility staff

• Keep requested time off to minimum with expectation to work some holidays

• Smoke/nicotine free campus policy

• Travelers within 70 miles of Silver City considered local and not accepted

• Previous facility employees within last 2 years not eligible

The organization maintains interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy to ensure comprehensive patient care.
